    Both ends of the range are checked. The form rejects a photo under 20 KB as well as one over 100 KB, and a signature under 10 KB. A tiny phone screenshot or an over-compressed photo can fail for being too small.
    No pixel size is required. The form shows your photo in a small preview box, but that is only how it is displayed; the portal does not ask for specific pixel dimensions or a DPI.
    The file name matters. The form says the file name may contain only letters and digits. A name like IMG_2026-10-29 (1).jpg breaks that rule; this tool saves photo.jpg and signature.jpg.

    MPPSC is not MPSC

    MPPSC is the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. The Maharashtra commission is MPSC and has different rules: up to 50 KB at 3.5 × 4.5 cm for the photo — use the MPSC photo tool and MPSC signature tool for Maharashtra.

    The MPPSC form also asks for the front page of your bank passbook as a JPG of up to 200 KB; the photo resize tool can bring a scan under that.

    The photo must also be at least 20 KB (signature at least 10 KB), and the file name may contain only letters and digits.

    Is my photo uploaded to a server?
